2K Sports need to come to financial terms with former players and get their likenesses into the game. This will allow 2K Sports the ability to create new units and complement the current teams. More Classic Teams - Classic teams are my favourite feature of NBA 2K. There's something really cool about having teams from the past facing up against one another. The 1996 Bulls are considered to be one of the top teams ever, but how do that Bulls team fare in the present NBA? This issue can be resolved by incorporating traditional teams. In the PlayNow mode, it's possible for the '96 Bulls to play against the 2016 Cleveland Cavaliers title-winning team. This is pure fantasy basketball. The classic teams bring the variety of PlayNow and keep people from choosing the same three teams each time. I like being able pick from different times in the league. I have a list of nine teams that are worthy of inclusion as part of the league. The Thunder team is one of my favorites from this list. This was the Russell Westbrook and Kevin Durant era's best team, and it's worthy of being acknowledged. It was a brilliant side that ran into the Warriors in their prime. Aesthetics - NBA 2K does an excellent job of re-creating NBA arenas within the game. It is impressive to see the time and effort that the developers took to ensure that arena seating and the logos, as well as the hardwood were spot-on. It would be pleasant to see 2K extend their PlayNow options. In previous games, 2K Sports had included locations that were not basketball courts. Rucker Park was included in the very first game of the series. These locations add a unique experience to the game. It can be a little boring to see the same graphics repeated over and over when playing. These arenas do not need necessarily be associated with basketball but wacky places can bring an element of excitement to the game. G-League Teams - The G-League has become more important in recent years. G-League has become a competitive minor league. In the past five years the G-League champion has been crowned by five teams. The G-League is increasingly utilized by young players as a stepping to the league. We've seen players like Pascal Siakam using the G-League for their development as a player, before eventually becoming a regular, rotation player in the league. 2K Sports have included the G-League in earlier games. In NBA 2K19 the G-League was one of the steps along the way to NBA in the MyPlayer. The last usage has been decent, but 2K Sports can use the G-League more effectively.
