I'm playing FF in the present, but I don't think I have an compelling argument to ignore ESO. Both are great in their own unique ways. Final Fantasy strikes me as more of a social game, and it's story is comparable to any main line Final Fantasy game. ESO however, on the contrary hand, allows you to immerse yourself in the world. If you're a Nirn is a nirn, then ESO can provide you with so numerous avenues to be participant in it. Combat is the primary issue for a lot of people. FF feels more like WoW. ESO is more like GW2 In the later stages, the rotating mechanics of ESO get a little ridiculous, not from a length perspective, but at an execution point.
They're both quite cool and can fill different niches. Personally, I'm more a fan of the story of ESO. However, I've played more Elder Scrolls games that I have Final Fantasy, so I am more familiar with the history and references in the series.
ESO is a more smooth housing system that FFXIV has a more smoother housing system. ESO lets you tilt and float objects without having to exploit bugs. Additionally, because it's instanced(but big) it's not necessary to argue over plots.
It's not classic rock, but don't get too excited. The original definition of classic rock was "rock that was older than 20 years" however this was just 20 years ago. "Classic rock" has been defined as "rock that was popular in the 1960s and 1970s, with a little bit of the 1980s". Classic rock has a very distinctive sound, the sound of Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, Rolling Stones, etc. Nirvana and Metallica do not possess that sound. Although, it's not all of Metallica I'm guessing Load and Reload kind of have some of that.
My favorite classic rock station has started adding music from the 90s , including alternative and grunge and a tiny bit of mainstream metal. However, when they did this they ditched the "classic rock" title and instead began using the term "rock" because this genre doesn't fit their sound no longer (even while it's 85percent classic rock). They even referred to themselves as "classic rock" and "90s rock" at one point.
Bards are given the opportunity to perform is among my favorite options in this game. I'm in love with iike. I had a great time playing it several months ago. It was when i am up early on Saturday morning to play the game ffxiv. I also made some food, and yes, had the most enjoyable time eating breakfast while my character was sitting on an island in Limsa and listened to music and other gamers sat and talked about different things.
